About Badrinath

Badrinath leads McKinsey's Strategy & Corporate Finance Practices in Southeast Asia. He has supported banks and financial institutions across the region as they have overhauled their processes, developed regional growth strategies, and driven performance transformation. In particular, he brings knowledge and deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in Vietnam and Indonesia.

His recent work includes the following:

  • developing the strategy and business model for a multinational corporation to enter a new market segment in Indonesia
  • several acquisitions and joint ventures end to end—from strategy to execution to value capture
  • advising a highly successful Southeast Asian attacker bank in crafting its D-year corporate strategy
  • assisting an attacker bank on strategy, organization, and transformation topics over the past 4 years
