About Becca

Becca is a leader in the North American Retail Practice, where she oversees retail-merchandising work and knowledge development. She has extensive experience serving retailers on strategy and merchandising topics, including pricing and promotions, assortment optimization, personalization, and format renewal. She is also a leader of McKinsey Design, where she helps oversee our efforts to put design at the heart of our clients’ business and growth strategies.

Examples of her recent work include helping a department store reset its pricing and promotion strategy and tactics, helping a top-ten retailer transform from mass promotions to personalized offers and communication, and developing a new end-to-end approach to vendor management for another leading global player.

Becca is at the forefront of developing our merchandising capabilities, including a suite of big data tools and software to help retailers embed deeper insights and consumer intelligence into their merchandising decisions.

Becca remains a die-hard supporter of the Maize and Blue from her years at the University of Michigan, and, as a native of Lawrence, Kansas, she is a longtime fan of Jayhawks basketball.
