About Daniel

Daniel chairs the technology and capabilities committee of McKinsey’s Shareholders Council (our global governance board), overseeing the strategy to tech-enable and innovate the firm, and further strengthen its long term knowledge and capabilities. He coleads McKinsey Accelerate, created to help clients fast-track and sustain transformational impact through leadership alignment, execution support, capability building, and leadership development—with more than one thousand practitioners, a distinctive set of assets, and exceptional digital-learning programs.

Previously, Daniel built and led McKinsey New Ventures program—created to incubate new analytic and digital assets, develop innovative client offers, and build alliances and partnerships—for three years. He also led the firm’s Aerospace & Defense Practice in the Americas and served as a core global leader of McKinsey’s industrials work.

Daniel primarily serves clients across industrial, aerospace, defense, technology, and software sectors. He has extensive experience in reinventing incumbents through digital, analytics, and large-scale performance-transformation programs. His focus is on accelerating value creation across a portfolio of businesses, building new operational capabilities, driving international growth, and establishing world-class M&A and postmerger-integration capabilities.

Passionate about helping not-for-profit institutions in New York. Daniel serves on the board of trustees of Rockefeller University and was a board member of the School of American Ballet for nine years.
