About Erica

Erica has spent almost 15 years working with the management teams of leading public- and private-sector healthcare organizations. As leader of the McKinsey Center for US Health System Reform, Erica is the go-to voice for our firm on health policies, and health insurance markets more broadly, and a known expert across the industry. She has counseled hundreds of clients, including major providers, insurers, and federal and state government, helping them navigate the turbulence of health-policy changes and continuing unfolding regulation.

Erica also leads McKinsey's research and client service related to behavioral health, focused on improving care delivery for mental-health and substance-use disorders and understanding implications of broader social determinants of health. She is also a leader of McKinsey's Opioids Insights, a group which helps clients and society combat the opioid crisis by providing insights, expertise, analytics, and technology. Erica is committed to behavioral health outside of McKinsey as well, including serving on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City.
