About Manish

Manish, who has been with the firm for 17 years, focuses on serving healthcare institutions whether publicly traded, privately held, or with a not-for-profit mission. He leads the firm’s client service in pricing in the Americas region and in healthcare pricing globally.

Manish specializes in helping healthcare institutions on their overall strategy, M&A, revenue management, operational improvement, and organizational design and effectiveness. His recent clients include large private, public, and not-for-profit health systems; reputable academic medical centers; a national laboratory diagnostics-services company; leading multinational healthcare intermediaries and medical-product companies; and private investors with healthcare interests.

He also serves a range of B2B companies in pricing and revenue management, including chemicals, industrials, automotive, distribution, and professional services.

In addition to his client service, Manish is the dean of a program designed for CEOs and other senior executives on their development as leaders through a program called the Inner Wisdom Retreat, which brings together elements of meditation and other contemplative practices to bring greater inner clarity and purpose.

Manish’s time at McKinsey has spanned four offices (Detroit, New Jersey, New York, and Singapore). He was based in the United States from 2001 to 2010 before moving to Asia (where he was based in Singapore for two years) and returned to New York in 2012.

In Asia, Manish led McKinsey’s Singapore office as managing partner and served private- and public-sector clients in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, in healthcare and beyond. He also led McKinsey’s pricing work for the broader Asia–Pacific region.

He is the author of a recent book, The Equanimous Mind, in which he shared his experiences with mindfulness meditation and the positive impact it has had on his personal and professional life.
