About Manisha

Manisha has over 15 years of experience supporting organizations across the healthcare industry to improve performance. Her healthcare clients span medical technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and digital health companies as well as payers and providers. The commercial and strategic growth issues that Manisha works on include both traditional sales, marketing, and launch issues as well as newer models, such as the use of digital and big data in new ways, new value-based and outcome-based payment models, multistakeholder collaborations, and solutions and service offerings. Her passion is to work with stakeholders across the healthcare system toward better patient outcomes at better value.

Manisha is a leader of the firm’s innovation work as well as our digital, analytics, and commercial work within the Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Practice. She coleads McKinsey's health technology network and has worked on healthcare and innovation in India, the United States, Western Europe, and parts of Africa.

Outside of her healthcare work, Manisha is driving the McKinsey Future of Work and philanthropy initiative and has worked on economic development and global public health issues. As the program coordinator for the American India Foundation in New Delhi, she identified and funded innovative development projects in healthcare, education, and microfinance. Manisha also worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme in Ethopia and in the health portfolio of a nonprofit venture fund that supports entrepreneurs with products for low-income people in Asia and Africa.
