About Martin

Martin coleads for the Pharmaceuticals &Medical Products Practice globally. He has advised clients across Asia, Europe, and the United States primarily in the pharmaceuticals, medtech, and consumer goods industries.

Martin previously led our pan-industry Organization Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and initiated a firm-wide special initiative on managing global organisations. The practice spans organisational design, human capital, transformational change, and postmerger integration.

Examples of Martin’s recent client work include the following:

  • leading a multiyear advanced analytics transformation for a leading pharmaceuticals company
  • setting the 10-year strategy for a leading EU-based biopharmaceuticals company
  • leading a major brand relaunch for a global leading biopharmaceuticals company
  • setting the salesforce strategy and go-to-market model for a global medical products company
  • leading a multiyear productivity programme (including 2BB, orgisation, supply, and revenue growth) for a market-leading global consumer company

Martin is a board member of Veryday, a leading design company acquired by McKinsey in 2017—now part of McKinsey Design. Outside of McKinsey, Martin is a trustee on the board of Asia House in London.
