About Oleg

Oleg has worked in McKinsey’s Moscow office since 1999. He leads project implementation work for companies in the telecoms, metals, transport, banking and retail sectors in Russia and Kazakhstan, with a focus on telecoms and financial services.

Examples of recent projects:

  • design of new business models for one of Russia’s biggest private banks; 
  • conceptual design of a flexible organizational model for a major Russian state bank; 
  • review of the impact of regulatory changes on market structure and company value for a major telecoms company; 
  • strategy renewal for a major player in the telecommunications market in Kazakhstan; 
  • cost analysis and corporate strategy design for a leading private bank in Kazakhstan. 

Before joining McKinsey, Oleg worked for a major investment company.
