A partner in the Paris office, Patrick Béhar leads the Media Practice at McKinsey France. A specialist of major media groups, over the past 20 years, he has helped his clients tackle their strategy, organization and operational issues, and specialized in a wide media field covering television, radio, content production, publishing (professional and consumer publishing, new media, information, music, and cinema), and advertising, on the client side as well as agency.

Before joining McKinsey, Patrick Béhar was a director at Bain & Company in Paris, which he joined in 2009. As the leader of their Media and Entertainment Practice for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa zone, he brought his support to leaders in the media industry in a variety of fields ranging from growth strategies, audience development or portfolio optimization to major transformation programs, including organization, revenue control (pricing, yield management, sales efficiency), or the overhaul of the business model around digital channels.

Prior to this, Patrick was a partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he began his consultancy career in 1992 in the San Francisco and then London offices before coming to Paris where he was appointed vice president and then general director. He began his professional career two years earlier in the leveraged buyout department at Citibank, Paris.
