About Thomas

Thomas serves global energy, chemicals, technology, and automotive clients. He established our work in capital productivity and renewable energy and led our global energy work, the Houston office, and Southern region. Thomas serves on McKinsey's Shareholders Council, the firm's board, and leads the global Partner Election Committee.

He has led and supported several dozen large-scale successful performance transformations of leading companies across industries globally. Thomas is a frequent speaker on energy and technology trends and topics at events such as the World Economic Forum and the Oxford Energy Forum.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Thomas built and managed a technical consulting firm. During his time in academia, he conducted research on various energy-related topics and served on several boards and working groups, including the state energy advisory council.
