About Vijay

Vijay leads Marketing and Distribution for McKinsey's Americas Banking & Securities Practice. Prior to his current role, he co-led and helped build the global Risk Practice and also co-led the Payments Practice. He is a founder of McKinsey on Payments and a member of its editorial board. Vijay has helped a diverse set of global and regional financial institutions on a range of strategic and operational issues including business unit strategy, tactical profit improvement, organizational redesign and transformation, as well as risk and regulation.

Before joining McKinsey, Vijay's career spanned banking and technology. He was an associate director at Swiss Bank Corporation in London and a quantitative investment analyst at Acadian Asset Management in Boston. He started his career in software at Digital Equipment Corporation.
